What’s the best way to detangle my wig?

Brush through the wig lightly with a wide tooth comb. Avoid the temptation to tug at the fibres as this may damage your wig. Gently does it!

Can I wash my wig in regular shampoo?

We recommend using a small amount of specialist synthetic wig shampoo in a bowl or sink full of cool water. Rather than working up a fierce lather, gently swirl your wig in the soapy water and let it soak for a few minutes.

How should I rinse my wig after washing?

Rinse your wig under a running cold tap or shower nozzle until the water runs clean with no more soap bubbles. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment.

Can I use conditioner on my wig?

You can use a spray on conditioner or a conditioning balm on your wig. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions.

How do I dry my wig after washing it?

Never twist the wig or wring it to remove excess moisture. Instead let it dry naturally on a poly head or wig stand. If you use a hairdryer, use a cool setting.
